Crystalizing ripples in the grassland

continous contour line.  A giant field of bulging roofs · the linear convex roofs form five large ripples in the polder landscape · the linear roofs are placed parallel to the ditches · in this way the massive three-dimensional presence of these 64 houses fits naturally into the flat industrial polder system · under the red-tiled roof blanket there are 4 different types of houses: row houses, standard patio houses and luxurious patio houses, and office houses · the office houses are a combination of the last house in the row with a special office unit, always at the heads of the building blocks · these block heads are shaped and styled to emphasize the overall dynamics of the block, like the front of the tgv train thalys · all around the soft-edged building blocks we have wrapped an extensive pergola structure at the very borders of the private properties · this results in a maximum coherency for the project as a whole · the 12 twin houses are a bold restyling of the traditional typology · the volume is pumped up as in the row housing and patio housing, the roofs are clad in red tiles, and the adjacent side walls are shaped like soft aluminium pillows ·
